TouringCR (the "Site") is operated by Jair Villarreal, doing business as TouringCR, Costa Rica ("we"). This policy explains how we handle personal data under Costa Rica Law No. 8968 on the Protection of the Individual against the Processing of their Personal Data, and its regulations.

What we collect

The Site is currently a coming-soon page. It has no forms, accounts, bookings or payments, and we do not set cookies or run analytics or advertising trackers. If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare, USA) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and keep it secure.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data you send us only to reply to you and, if you ask, to inform you about our launch. We rely on your consent, which you give by contacting us.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by our infrastructure and email providers, which may be located outside Costa Rica (including the United States), under their own data protection terms.

Retention

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, and then delete it unless the law requires otherwise.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion or objection (ARCO rights) regarding your personal data by emailing [email protected]. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may file a complaint with PRODHAB (Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes), the Costa Rican data protection authority.

Minors

The Site is not directed to people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
